Archives for the month of: July, 2004

Well I have now returned to Guildford, a pretty uneventful journey with only one moment of excitement. This happened while waiting to board my connecting train at Reading, a lady was getting off the train with a child in a pushchair. Somehow she managed to get the front wheel stuck under the train (I’m not entirely sure how) so being the normal person I am I lept to her aid and with a bit of a struggle managed to get it free.
Yeah ok not amazingly exciting but she seemed to be pretty grateful. Made me wonder if people should automatically help people with pushchairs in awkward stuations, help make the world a better place and all that 🙂

Something to think about anyway.

After a little more tweaking this morning I am now proudly able to rightly display the ‘valid CSS’ logo in the menu bar, it didn’t take much changing but it does give a nice sense of achievement. 🙂

After many long hours spent grappling with css and completely failing to display any colour sense I have finally got the site into a state that at least doesn’t hurt my eyes 😉
Now I think I’m gonna chill and watch some TV, much joy and feeling of achievement this evening.

Well I’m back home in lovely Plymouth right now, and have just finished watching Bend it like Beckham… I was hoping to have an interesting and insightful review of it for my blog, but it was not to be…
Its just a nice film.

Which leads me rather disjointedly to my next pondering, what is blog worthy and what is not? Read the rest of this entry »

Well it looks like this may be actually working, shockingly easy to do if it is !!
Now all I need to do is sort things out properly with links and funky css and all that jazz 🙂
